This is our dog on drugs...

Unfortunately, our great evening at the beach ended with a torn knee ligament for Otto... This is a picture of him several hours after getting sedated for his x-rays. (4 weeks of inactivity, here we come!)

Poor Otto

An evening stroll at the beach...

We decided to take advantage of the beautiful evening and low tide with our friends visiting from Germany.

Marta and Kacy (sporting the Moby) ... and Otto being taunted by a terrier of sorts.

Linden enjoyed facing out during the walk.

Martin had to stick his head in the stinky cave...

"My name is Otto and I approve this blog post"

I'm finding my voice!

Linden Meets Lily!

We got to meet up with our friends Mike and Kristi and their new little girl Lily. They made the trek down from Seattle to the Bay Area to visit family. Lily is about 8 weeks older than Linden.

The Face Off...

Mike is a ladies man...

We took a hike overlooking the Silicon Valley

Linden totally disrespecting a protected area... and smiling to boot!

The Dads

The Moms (nice "fill in" flash Mike)

Linden had a "blowout" during the hike. Her first wilderness diaper change!

Nana is wearing my pants!

Nana and I busted out our piggy pants and did a quick fashion show. We could have used a runway!

Standing on my own! (sort of)

With the help of the couch arm rest Linden was able to stand up and see the world from a new perspective.

Announcing our little Rock Star!

We decided to go a little unconventional with our birth announcements. There is this really cool company called Rattle 'n Roll. They took a photo of our little one, turned it into a cartoon and made our announcement like a concert poster!!

Daddy Daycare?

Brian volunteered to watch 2 newborns while Kacy and her friend Jess could walk downtown to go workout. Naïve? Maybe. Insane? Definitely.

So Jess dropped off little Logan (who is a month older than Linden) and off they went.

The evening started off great:

Both Logan and Linden laid on the floor and played and coo'd...

Then both decided to "get more comfortable" and laid in the crib together (check out Logan's moves).

Linden soon returned the favor... Both so happy... but then things inexplicably turned for the worse... (the video is self explanatory)

So, of the 2 hours the ladies were gone, 45 minutes were spent in collective meltdown...

Brian says, "they may have won the battle, but I plan on winning the war!"

Whatever that's supposed to mean...
