Linden turned 4 months old yesterday and had her 4 month check up today. Along w/ the check up came 3 more shots. The shots were not as traumatic as the last, but broke our hearts nonetheless.
For those interested in stats here are the latest tallies:
Weight - 15 lbs 10 oz (approx. 90th percentile)
Height - 26.5 inches (above 95th percentile... surprise, surprise)
Head Circumference - 16.75 inches (approx. 90th percentile)
I'm not really sure what to make of these "percentiles". I think they are simply created to either boost a parents ego, or give them a complex... You can see the chart created by the CDC here: CDC Chart.
The data used to create this growth chart is "girl" specific and was compiled over a 45 year period... you be the judge.
Regardless, we have a healthy girl on our hands... and we're thankful for that.
And again, other important stats:
Incessant drooling - (100th percentile)
Pooping through outfits on a daily basis - (100th percentile)
Now those are stats to hang your hat on!
